If you’ve had a glass or two, it’s best to stay away from social media, especially if you’re an award-winning singer like Adele. The hit maker recently admitted that her Twitter messages get approved by her management team before going live as she’s been guilty of drunk-tweeting in the past.

'No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me'

The 27-year-old, who recently released Hello, her first single in four-years, admitted that when Twitter first came out she would often tweet while under the influence. “I mean I'm not a drinker any more, but when Twitter first came out I was, like, drunk tweeting, and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times,” she said during the TV special Adele at the BBC.

However, the tweets she sends out to her almost 24 million followers are still her own. “My management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone, but they're all my tweets.
