Amanda Bynes reportedly feels "utterly betrayed" by her parents. The troubled actress was admitted to hospital in Los Angeles on Friday following weeks of worrying behaviour. The 28-year-old was placed under a 5150 involuntary hold, used when people are deemed a danger to themselves or others, after her parents allegedly duped her into thinking she was being taken to a meeting. A source now claims the star is furious with her mom Lynn and dad Rick.

'Although she's had a poor relationship with her dad, she had warm feelings for her mom... until Friday'

"Amanda feels utterly betrayed and says her relationship with her parents is 'destroyed forever'," the insider told TMZ. "Although she's had a poor relationship with her dad, she had warm feelings for her mom... until Friday."

Amanda began displaying worrying behaviour last month after she was arrested for DUI in California. She then flew to New York City where she was accused of shop lifting and claimed to be engaged.

Her erratic actions culminated with her accusing her father of sexually abusing her as a child on Twitter. She later deleted the remarks and claimed a microchip made her post them.

Amanda was reportedly convinced to fly back to Los Angeles on Friday by Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lufti, who was working with her parents to get her to safety.

This isn't the first time the 5150 legislation has been used on the actress, as she was also placed under it last year following bizarre behaviour. She went on to spend time in rehab and was then placed under a conservatorship order.

TMZ adds that the blonde star is reportedly being held in the women's lockdown section of a facility in Pasadena, where she is said to be "showing fits of anger".

Her parents are said to be happy that she is finally somewhere safe and getting the help she needs.
