Amor Vittone’s recovery is going to take a long time, the singer's mom Delyse revealed to YOU.

Amor underwent a second operation on Wednesday morning to try and reattach the muscle and ligaments in her feet.

The mom of two was rushed to hospital on Monday after a freak accident on the trampoline at her son Jordan’s (13) birthday party.

The incident happened at Bounce, a trampoline park in Fourways, Johannesburg.

Delyse says Amor is relieved that she will regain the use of her foot. The bone broke through the skin and flesh, but X-rays revealed that it was a clean break.

Amor will have to use crutches and a brace for the next few weeks.

She'll also need to undergo physiotherapy for some time to come. Delyse says Amor is very impressed with the service at the Morningside Clinic. “Everyone there is wonderful. Amor says she’s never received such wonderful treatment.”

Delyse says hospital staff prayed for Amor before the operation and again once she was in theatre.

The singer has also asked that doctors discharge by Friday afternoon because Saturday is Jordan’s birthday.
