Eleven-year-old Asanda Jezile, daughter of South African expats, blows the judges away at the Britain’s Got Talent finale.

The daughter of SA expats, Asanda Jezile faced a lot of competition at the Britain’s Got Talent final that took place on Saturday.

The self-confessed diva impressed the judges and audience at every stage of the show. Her rendition of Rihanna's Diamonds wowed the judges in her opening audition, but her version of Beyonce's Halo secured her a place in the final.

Up against 10 other hopefuls, the 11-year-old competed towards a massive £250 000 (R3,75 million) in prize money. Her stiffest competition came from Arisxandra Libantino (11) and Gabz Gardiner (14), but the talent show competition was eventually won by Hungarian shadow-dance troupe Attraction.

Asanda says she’s inspired by music industry favourites Rihanna and Beyoncé.

Confessing on Twitter prior to the final, the pre-teen said, “I get a little nervous . . . But I only get one shot at this! I have to give my all . . . scared and excited!! X (sic)”

Despite her nerves, the young girl offered a seamless delivery of Beyonce’s hit track If I Were a Boy on the night.

Drumroll . . . And the judges ruled:

Alesha Dixon, “Asanda, you are not normal; you are a freak of nature. It takes artists years to get to that level of stage performance and you commanded it beautifully.”

Amanda Holden, “It is ridiculous how talented you are. You remind me of Willow Smith. I want to be first in line for your autograph . . . brilliant.”

David Walliams, “It is not like watching an 11-year-old girl; it is like watching a superstar playing The O2 [Arena]. You are that good.

Simon Cowell, “You have done three performances and this was by a mile the best so far. You’ve come out here to win and you are a brilliant singer.”

It didn’t all go without a hitch though. The show’s finale was shaken up when Simon (Mr Nasty) was egged by a viola player named Natalie Holt. While opera singers Richard and Adam Johnson were finishing their song, Natalie (30) ran on stage and began throwing eggs at Simon.
