Power FM has lost yet another big name to a rival station: Azania Mosaka announced she will be joining 702.

Azania quit the radio station in December, one of many to do so. Other presenters who have left include Siki Mgabadeli, McIntosh Polela, Chris Vick, Asanda Magaqa and Eusebius McKaiser.

Azania will co-host the weekend breakfast show with Africa Melane on 702/CapeTalk’s Weekend Breakfast.

She started as a producer at Metro FM over a decade ago and swiftly moved through the ranks to eventually hosting her own drive time show before she left the station in 2013 to join Power FM.

She told Eyewitness News she was “ecstatic” to be part of 702/CapeTalk. “It is a great opportunity for me to refine my broadcasting abilities at a station that was instrumental in developing my love for talk radio as a listener and a broadcaster."
