Amanda Bynes reportedly appeared “normal and stable” during a weekend outing.

Amanda Bynes reportedly appeared “normal and stable” during a weekend outing. The former actress recently returning to New York City following her September 28 DUI arrest in Los Angeles, which has reignited concern for her wellbeing. But new reports suggest the 28-year-old was giving onlookers nothing to worry about as she rode a bike around the city Sunday afternoon.

'She looked great and was a good bike rider. Nothing abnormal'

"She appeared normal and stable," a witness told E! News. "She looked great and was a good bike rider. Nothing abnormal."

Amanda was pictured cycling in baggy pants, a sweater and flats for about 30 minutes in midtown Manhattan, and continued to wear a bandage under her eye, seen days ago upon her return to the city.

A witness previously told the outlet she had displayed unusual behaviour while en route from Los Angeles.

"Amanda was at the table by herself with all her makeup spread out across the table," a source who reportedly saw her at LAX told the outlet. "She was talking to herself and putting on a ton of makeup. She would apply some, look in her compact and make weird pouty faces and then say to herself, 'OK, that looks fine.'"

Amanda’s recent outing comes just a week after she was observed stopping in the middle of a Los Angeles intersection by California Highway Patrol officers and later failed a field sobriety test, according to a CHP spokesperson.

The incident followed less than three weeks after a conservatorship overseen by her parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, ended September 10, according to E!

Lynn was previously given control over her daughter's finances and healthcare decisions after Amanda in July 2013 was put under an involuntary psychiatric hold - meant for those deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.

Rick Bynes admitted his knowledge of Amanda’s well-being has been limited recently.

“You know what we know,” he told X17Online last week.

Amanda remains on probation in connection to a previous DUI.

A court date in her latest case is scheduled for October 23.
