Chicken wings with honey and lemon

16 chicken wings, tips removed

7 ml sea salt

125 ml lemon juice

3 garlic cloves, crushed

pinch of cayenne pepper

90 g honey

lemon wedges to serve

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Put the chicken wings in a roasting pan, sprinkle with sea salt and cook in the oven for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile blend the lemon juice, garlic, cayenne pepper and honey in a small saucepan.

Heat slowly until the honey has melted.

Pour the mixture over the chicken wings and stir to coat.

Cook for another 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with lemon wedges, mash potatoes and grilled veggies.
