Curried chicken patties with pitta

Add a delicous Greek twist to your day

Serves: 9

8 chicken breasts, cubed

60 ml (¼ c) tikka masala paste

15 ml (1 T) tandoori curry powder

60 ml (¼ c) plain yoghurt

60 ml (¼ c) fine breadcrumbs

Tzatziki

½ cucumber, finely grated

30 ml (2 T) fresh mint, chopped

125 ml (½ c) plain yoghurt

salt and freshly ground black pepper

Place the chicken breasts in a food processer and blitz until smooth.

In a mixing bowl combine the masala, curry powder, yoghurt and breadcrumbs.

Mix in the chicken and shape into patties.

Fry the patties in a lightly oiled pan over medium heat for 10 minutes on each side or until cooked.

For the tzatziki mix all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.

Serve the chicken patties with pitta bread and tzatziki.
