Daniel Baron recently unveiled his latest music video for his first single, Free.

It's barely been a few days and it already caused controversy.

The singer claims it's like nothing he has done before. "Must admit I am a bit nervous to shoot this music video. Doing some things I've never even thought of doing. Never mind in front of a camera," he wrote on Facebook.

Er, it's like something someone else has done before -- this music video looks awfully familiar! Daniel's vid uses imagery strikingly similar to the video for U2's Numb.

We spoke to a music business publicist who says that the strategic thing to do would have been to acknowledge the U2 video as the inspiration behind his video and that his should have been done from the outset.

"Blatant copying of someone else's creative property just isn't cool and this is in fact a form of plagiarism," the source says.
