Daniel Radcliffe admits he’s "terrible" at balancing his work and personal life.

The Harry Potter actor ? who shot to fame at a young age in the hit movie franchise ? says working nonstop for more than a decade has made it difficult for him to slow down and enjoy the fruits of his labour.

He candidly said, "I'm pretty terrible at the work-life balance. Because I earned very good money doing Harry Potter, it's counterintuitive for a lot of people that I would work so hard now. But I've been working since I was nine and I've never known a life without a film set."

The 24-year-old star is instantly recognised around the world after portraying boy wizard Harry in eight successful movies although he’s now eager to separate himself from the star-making role and seeks movie and stage parts which require physical changes.

He explained, "Because I have a very recognisable face, whenever I have an opportunity to change that face, it's very exciting for me. It's possibly one of the reasons I find doing accents so freeing. It's such a transformative thing."

Although he may feel unease about his global fame, Daniel insists he’s "lucky" to have started acting at such an early age as he no longer feels uncomfortable on set, unlike many actors his age.

He added to Variety.com, "I'm meeting a lot of actors who are my age now and for some of them it's their first time on a film set. I realise how unbelievably f**king lucky I was, because I'm always at home on a film set."
