Disgruntled intern leaves nasty surprise for his former boss

An internship can either be an valuable learning experience or a nightmarish slog in a miserable work environment. The intern who left this angry message on a post-it note for his former employer to read clearly experienced the latter.

'I spat in your coffee every day'

The furious rant had apparently been written by an intern on the very last post-it note of the pad, in hope that by the time his former employer would discover it long after he had gone.

The post, which has gone viral online, was uploaded to Reddit by Win_in_Roam and captioned, "We sent out our intern to buy sticky notes. He's not a very bright kid."

The cathartic note reads: "By the time you read this, I'll be long gone from this s***hole. I hope you enjoyed bossing me around. I bet you felt real good about yourself. Well I wonder how you feel now knowing I spat in your coffee every day."

There is some speculation on Reddit as to whether or not the message is real. PHOTO: Win_in_Roam There is some speculation on Reddit as to whether or not the message is real. PHOTO: Win_in_Roam

There is some speculation on Reddit as to whether or not the message is real, but that hasn’t stopped the post from resonating with other disgruntled employees and going viral.

Win_in_Raom claims he found the note in his work-place – it is unclear whether or not he is the employer who ‘mistreated’ the hapless intern.
