The countrywide game of "Guess the Actress" is over.

The 'actress' bust for allegedly trying to smuggle 15kg of the ephedrine into OR Tambo airport yesterday has been named as Ottilia Mmatjatji Malatji, Timeslive reports.

The 29-year-old, from Ivory Park, appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court in Johannesburg, where her case was postponed to October 7 for a bail application. She will be charged with dealing in drugs. She remains in custody.

South African Revenue Service (Sars) spokesperson Luther Lebelo said yesterday that the woman was arrested after R4,6 million worth of ephedrine was found in her bag on Sunday. She had arrived from Abu Dhabi.

Ephedrine is used in the manufacture of crystal methamphetamine, or tik.

The hashtag #GuessTheActress went viral on Twitter yesterday, with users speculating on who the drug mule 'celebrity' might be.

According to IOL, a Sars official said police officers at the airport appear to have mistaken the woman for a star of several popular soapies.

Yesterday, Lebelo said the woman had held supporting roles in local television soaps such as e.tv's Scandal!‚ SABC3's Isidingo and SABC1's Skeem Saam.
