PG13.

Romantic comedy.

An American writer (Owen Wilson) visiting Paris becomes obsessed with its Golden Era of the 1920s, when writers such as Ernest Hemingway mingled with artists such as Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso.

On a midnight stroll he’s magically transported to that world and finds inspiration and romance.

Director Woody Allen, who won an Oscar for the screenplay, does an excellent job of awakening nostalgia for days gone by.

A must-see for fans of this romantic yet cynical director.
