Easy bread pizza

Use leftover mince to create this cheat pizza.

Pizza for lazy cooks!

Serves: 6 Preparation: 5 min Cooking: 25 min

  • 400 g beef mince
  • 15 ml (1 T) Cajun spice
  • 1 loaf ciabatta
  • 250 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 4 spring onions, sliced

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

1. Brown the mince in a pan over medium heat. Add the spice and simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat.

2. Slice the ciabatta in half lengthwise. Place both halves on a large greased baking sheet. Top evenly with the cooked mince mixture, sprinkle with the cheese then add the tomato, chilli and spring onions.

3. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
