Eddie Redmayne apparently isn't ready to turn his back on Britain.

The English actor has stormed this year's awards season, picking up the best actor Golden Globe, BAFTA, SAG and most recently the Oscar for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

While he is already a regular fixture in Hollywood, his awards success will no doubt boost his thriving career even more. However, Eddie and his new wife Hannah Bagshawe aren't considering an LA move, say friends.

'He and Hannah are completely content with staying in England because they are both very close to their family'

"Eddie says that he will not be going to Hollywood. He and Hannah are completely content with staying in England because they are both very close to their family, and her work is there," a source told Radar.

"They are such a normal couple and are two of the most down-to-earth people you will ever meet. They do not spend lavishly and although Hannah looks shy and reserved, when you are around them, it is quite the opposite. She is very comfortable being his wife and she definitely keeps him grounded.”

Eddie and Hannah tied the knot in December, and have already flown back to London following Sunday night's lavish awards show.

Just because he's not uprooting doesn't mean the 33-year-old doesn't enjoy his time across the pond.

“Even before winning the Oscar, he was telling a group of us who were all hanging out at the Sunset Tower Hotel, where he loves to stay when he is in town, that he can’t believe this is his life right now,” another source said.
