Emma Stone is “so f**king excited” she’s nominated for an Oscar.

The 26-year-old actress is officially in the running for a Best Supporting Actress gong in the upcoming Academy Awards for her performance in Birdman. In her elated statement about the news, she was unable to contain her happiness and let out some naughty words.

“Well, this is surreal. I am completely knocked out. Thank you to the Academy for this incredible honour. I am very proud and lucky to be a part of Birdman and can’t believe it came to this. I am so f**king excited,” she said in a reaction obtained by E! News. “Are you allowed to say f**k when you’re making a statement for the Oscars? I’m just really f**king excited.”

Emma plays the character of Sam, who struggles to deal with her washed-up and inattentive actor father, played by Michael Keaton. She’s also picked up SAG, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations for her role this season.

Actor Eddie Redmayne has also gushed about his Best Actor nomination for his work on The Theory of Everything.

“I’ve gone from being fast asleep to being sort of racing on adrenaline on 100 miles an hour. It’s too much, but it’s amazing!” he told People. “It’s an amazing moment.”

Benedict Cumberbatch was filled with “pride” over his Best Actor nod for The Imitation Game. The star revealed he was quick to phone his family about it.

"To ring my parents who are both actors and tell them that their only son has been nominated for an Oscar is one of the proudest moments of my life," he told The Associated Press.

Julianne Moore took to Twitter to express her sentiments. Thanking everybody for congratulating her, she admitted she felt “dizzy” about her Best Actress nomination for Still Alice.

“I am so happy i can barely breathe (sic),” wrote the actress.

The Academy Awards will take place on February 22 in Hollywood, with Neil Patrick Harris set to host the evening.
