“Doc, please help me,” Koos tells his GP.

“My eyes are very dry and itchy and eye drops aren’t helping much.”

“There’s an experimental operation we can try in which we transplant saliva ducts from your tongue to your eyes,” the doctor says.

“Okay, Doc, let’s try it,” Koos says.

The operation is done and Koos returns to the GP after three weeks.

“Well, Koos, how’s it going with your eyes? Has the operation made a difference?” the doctor asks.

“Oh yes, Doc! I don’t have a problem with dry, itchy eyes anymore.

But I have a new problem– every time I see food I start crying!”
