Phew! SA's 'It' couple are still an item! TV personality Minnie Dlamini and Bafana goalie Itumeleng Khune have not broken up, a source close to the couple exclusively told YOU.

Phew – one of our favourite couples are still an item! TV personality Minnie Dlamini and Bafana goalie Itumeleng Khune have not broken up, according to a source close to the couple. According to the insider, rumours that they have split up are just that – rumours. "They haven't broken up," our source stressed.

'They haven't broken up'
A Sunday newspaper recently reported the couple had called it quits, with Minnie moving out of Itumeleng’s Ruimsig home and seeking treatment for depression. But YOU understands that they don't even live together – Minnie has her own place. The presenter isn't suffering from depression either. She had a chest infection and had to undergo gastroscopy and lumbar puncture.

The newspaper reported things started crumbling after a fight between Itumeleng and 5FM DJ Euphonik, sparked after Itumeleng apparently groped and kissed Bonang Matheba at a popular Sandton nightclub two months ago. This is also untrue, according to our source.

The couple was once shy about speaking openly about their love life has in recent times been posting their happy moments on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

But Minnie has apparently slowed down on social media and posting pictures of herself and Itumeleng because of the work load. She's been locked in meetings about her new sports show, Let’s Talk Brazil.

Minnie and Itumeleng have been dating since they were first spotted together at a soccer match in 2010.

She attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in July last year, where she was awarded the Readers' Choice Award, and brought Itumeleng as her date. She even thanked her beau in her acceptance speech and sang, “If you like it then you should have put a ring on it,” while her eyes were fixated on him.

She also spoke exclusively to YOU earlier this year about life with her man.

Things haven’t always been rosy. An infamous open letter – which Minnie received from an alleged lover of Itumeleng – threatened to wreck their relationship for good.

The couple managed to patch things up and in October last year there were even whispers that the lovebirds were going to tie the knot!

Minnie and Itu recently walked away with the YOU Spectacular award for SA's Favourite Couple.

The duo are crazy in love, if their Instagram posts are anything to go by! Here are some of our faves:
