Fish with green bean and mushroom dressing

Do yourself a favour - and prepare this quick and easy and very tasty fish dish for supper tonight!

Serves 4

Preparation time: 10 min

Cooking time: 15 min

4 white fish fillets

5 ml (1 t) garlic salt

5 ml (1 t) black pepper

knob of butter

5 ml (1 t) oil

5 ml (1 t) garlic, crushed

1 red chilli, chopped

5 ml (1 t) grated ginger

200 g green beans

250 g mushrooms

2 ml (½ t) flour

60 ml (¼ c) vegetable stock

45 ml (3 T) milk

1 Season the fish on both sides with the garlic salt and pepper. Heat the  butter and oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the fish for 5 minutes on both sides and set aside.

2 In the same pan over medium heat, sauté the garlic, chilli, ginger, beans and mushrooms for 5 minutes.

3 Sprinkle the flour over the pan and cook for 2 minutes then pour in the stock and milk

4 Turn down the heat and simmer until the sauce has thickened. Serve the fish topped with the vegetables and sauce.
