A ballerina from Virginia in the US got the most amazing surprise gift from her husband at their wedding – an awesome 8-minute-long choreographed groomsmen dance to a medley of pop songs.

According to the bride, Valerie Tellman-Henning, she had been bugging husband Kirke Henning, who is also a professional dancer, about their wedding dance. “I told him early on in the wedding planning process, ‘Well, I hope you’re working on your groomsmen dance for me.’”

'Everybody was just blown away'

The scheming groom Kirke had to tell some white lies in order to keep the extravaganza a secret and reportedly told his bride, ‘Valerie, it’s just not going to happen.’”

The video of Kirke’s surprise for his new wife was uploaded to YouTube and has since has almost 2 million views. As the video opens Kirke and his groomsmen are getting into position as hit song Uptown Funk starts to play. The troupe, dressed in tuxedos, continue to tear up the dance-floor to some choice pop songs -- much to Valerie’s delight.

According to Kirke only four of the groomsmen were professional dancers, although you would never be able to tell with their perfectly timed dance moves. “My brother has two left feet and only had one rehearsal before the wedding,” says Kirke.

The surprise, which he started planning four months in advance, was definitely a hit. “Valerie had absolutely no idea. Her reaction, which you can see, was so cute,” said Ginger Topham, the couple’s wedding photographer. “Everybody was just blown away and surprised.”
