Guava dessert

Pieter Vermeulen of Kimberley guarantees you won’t want to make any other dessert once you’ve tasted this quick-and easy guava treat.

1 can (410 g) guavas

1 can (380 g) sweetened condensed milk

80 ml lemon juice

100 g white chocolate, roughly grated

Cut the guava segments into smaller pieces.

Divide the pieces and the juice among 4 glass tumblers.

Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice for about 5 minutes or until the mixture begins to thicken.

Spoon the mixture over the guavas and chill for about 1 hour or until firm.

Sprinkle over the grated chocolate just before serving.
