It just goes to show – you never know when you're going to get your big break!

For this construction worker in Amsterdam, it was an average day at work. Until a stranger approached him with a rather unusual request. Out of the blue, 21-year-old photographer Danika Magdelena (@MaddoLuu) stopped Nicky Libert and asked if she could take a picture of him. “So I randomly stopped this construction worker in Amsterdam and asked him for a photo because he was beautiful. #someonesignhim,” Magdelena wrote on her Instagram and Twitter pages.

The photo of Nicky posing in his construction gear went viral and soon the intrepid Twitter detectives were on the hunt for then unknown hunk. Finally, an eagle-eyed user spotted the 26-year old’s Instagram page and revealed his identity.
As the post started circulating around the world, fans soon started visiting Nicky at work to ask him for pictures. Easy-going Nicky obliged – and he gained 30 000 followers on his social media pages in just one week!

"They came to me to ask if I was a model. I said 'no, otherwise I would not be here,'" he told Parool.nl. "What an amazing last week I had..." he  wrote on his Twitter page.  "Everything changed at once and it took some getting used to.. I have to say I'm handling it better and better. Unsurprisingly, the construction worker was soon approached by the Amsterdam offices of Elite Models.
