It’s no secret children today have more homework than anyone ever did! So we’ve created a few tips on what to do to relax at home (once your homework is done of course!):

  1. Exercise – whether you enjoy hitting the tar, tearing it up on your bicycle, dancing, gymming, swimming, playing rugby or relaxing on your yoga mat, just make sure you squeeze in some form of exercise. It’s great for your body and mind, and will release a load of endorphins which make you feel good!
  2. Read – take comfort in the tales of a great book. It will help you temporarily escape the stress of school, and teach you all about yourself and the world.
  3. Cook – help your parents out in the kitchen as they prepare dinner. Even better, offer to make dinner for the family and give your parents a chance to relax.
  4. Organise – file your notes neatly, check that you’re on track with that big project and declutter.
  5. Play – remember that thing you did when you were a kid? That thing where you completely lose track of time and get lost in your own world? Learn to play again; learn to look at the world with fresh eyes. Sit outside in the garden with your pets, pick some flowers for your mom, lie on the grass and look at the clouds passing by.
