Husband shocked after wife appears on TV show TWO YEARS after her death

Two years had passed since Abragh Mohamed buried his beloved wife, after she was tragically killed in a car accident. Or so he thought.

The "widower" got the shock of his life when a friend phoned him to say he had just seen his dead wife on Al Mokhtafoun ("The Disappeared"), a national TV show in Morocco that helps people track down missing relatives, MailOnline reports.

It's not surprising Abragh, who lives in the small mountain town of Azilal, was totally bewildered. He'd had the awful experience of rushing his wife to Casablanca Ibn Rochd hospital after they were in a car accident in 2014. Abragh sustained only minor injuries.

Upon arrival, staff told the frantic husband he needed money upfront for her surgery, which he had to make the four-hour journey back to Azilal to get.

But when he returned, doctors told him she had died from her "serious" injuries.

Her "body", already wrapped in a shroud and in a coffin, was released to him to take home to Azilal to bury.

"I did not know it was a different body that we buried and my wife was still alive," Abragh told Spanish press.

The case has raised many eyebrows in the northern African country, with many questioning how Abragh had not known he had buried another woman, or why his wife, alive and well, had waited for so long to contact him.

As The Inquistor points out, "this isn’t a zombie story or something of the like, but seems to more likely be a blatant case of either medical or administrative incompetence."
