Whoever said life is simple when you're a kid?

Madie Cardon is a 16-year-old High School student from Utah. The teenager has found viral fame after she shared snippets of her old diary on her Twitter page.

"Found my diary from when I was 7 I'm dying," the 16-year-old Utah teenager captioned the images.

She begins the first angst-ridden entry by proclaiming how she doesn't know if she "can do this anymore" and that she may have "deppresion".

The cause of her distress?

"Today at school my crush Riley was chasing other girls on the playground!" she explains.

"I thought he liked me. And guess who he was chasing! Jessica! She is such a player! She hugs at least five boys every day! I am so mad at her."

Then she plots her revenge.

"I think I will tell Riley her secret. She wears pull ups! After he finds out he won’t like her anymore."

The next day, which happens to be Valentine's Day, Madie shared how her depression was getting "stronger". She and her sister had stayed up all night making Riley a card -- but her plan didn't pan out.

"Before Riley got to school I put it in his desk," she explained.

"When he got to school he looked in his desk he found my box. I wrote anonymous on it so he wouldn’t know it was from me. Right when he looked at it [he threw] it away. I am still crying. I have depression."

As if her heart wasn't crushed enough, the following say was the "worst day ever". "Riley told me he likes Jessica. I am done with boys. I want to kill all of them," she wrote with a rather descriptive illustration. The hilarious tweet has garnered more than 27 700 retweets and 39 000 likes since it was posted a few days ago. "Found the lil player," Madie wrote in another tweet showing a screenshot of Jess' Instagram account.

And it seems the internet has managed to track down the "Greatest PLAYA 2008".
