If our celebs quit their day jobs

What we think local celebs should do instead of their current gigs

She’s become quite a pro at going to rehab, so it doesn’t come as a surprise actress Lindsay Lohan has decided on opening her own rehab clinic. We guess if you’re really good at something, you may as well start earning some cash from it. If we had to dole out career advice to our local celebs we’d ask. . .

Khanyi Mbau – To open her own plastic surgery clinic or become a dating couch – think Will Smith in Hitch, only she will help women how to find older rich men.

Jen Su – To stop being a socialite attending every single event and rather focus her energy on designing her own hats and opening a store.

Clint Brink – To open a casting agency only for coloured people. He’s complained about not being able to land gigs because of his skin colour.

Pearl Thusi – To give up the (many)  presenting gigs and open an animal shelter because she’s always posting pictures of her animals on Instagram.

Kabelo Mabalane – To open his own string of gyms or diet supplement range.

Chomee – Instead of singing she should open her own dance school and teach young people how to “Jiva Sexy”. Oh, wait. . .

Uyanda Mbuli – To become a real-life mannequin for some upmarket boutique. She wasn’t very good at fashion designing but is very good at dressing up.

Gert-Johan Coetzee – To forget changing his hair colour and spiral coif daily and open a Marie Antoinette-themed hair salon.

Jay Anstey – She’s done the Camino Walk in Spain and has that hippie vibe about her. Instead of Isidingo, rather open your own backpackers in the same vain as that Jennifer Aniston movie Wanderlust.

Redi Tlhabi – She’s generally far too serious – we reckon she should become an academic and lecture philosophy at Harvard. Or Yale. DJ Sbu -  He holds the record for being the fastest celeb on our national roads. He was caught driving his Audi TT at 257kmph in 2007. Leave the radio presenting to Tbo Touch and rather become a race car driver. Share your thoughts:
