It came from the sky

A flying saucer lands at a petrol station on a lonely country road. The two aliens inside seem completely unconcerned about detection – “UFO” is emblazoned in big, bold letters on one side of their shiny craft. As the station owner stands and gawks in silence, paralysed with shock, his young blond attendant nonchalantly fills up the tank and waves to the aliens as they take off.

“Do you realise what just happened?” the owner finally utters.

“Yeah,” the attendant says. “So?”

“Didn’t you see the aliens in that vehicle?!”

“Yeah. So?”

“Didn’t you see ‘UFO’ written on the side of that vehicle?”

“Yeah. So?”

“Don’t you know what UFO means?”

The attendant rolls his eyes. “Good grief, boss! I’ve been working here for six years. Of course I know what ‘UFO’ means – ‘unleaded fuel only’.”
