By the sounds of Natalie Amyot's tale, it was a magical summer romance.

She met a tall, tanned, golden-haired man the last night of her Australian holiday, shared 'a beautiful night' with him.

'I spent my last money flying back here to find him'

The next day she flew back to Paris and lost her phone, and any hope she had of getting in touch with the handsome stranger.

But six weeks later, she would find out she had something to remember him by -- his unborn child.

Now, the young Parisian, who says she has no family of her own, is on a mission to find him. In a video, Natalie has returned to  Mooloolaba on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, and  turned to the kind masses of the internet to help her find the father of her baby.

"Hello I am Natalie and I'm from France and today I am making this video because I need your help,' she says, as she sits on a strecth of grass by a beach in Mooloolaba.

"Three months ago I came to Mooloolaba, I had an amazing time, I met amazing people. On the last night we had a party.

"I met a really cute guy. For me it was love at first sight. And we had a beautiful night."

She goes on to explain that she lost her phone after flying back to Paris, and has no way of contacting him. She says the man was about 180cm tall with blue eyes, blond hair and a tan.

As one YouTube commenter pointed out, her description matched "probably half the population of the Sunshine Coast."

She responded, "I know ... that's why I spent my last money flying back here to find him."

She's also set up a Facebook page to help her in her search, where she's been keeping followers of her tale updated.

"Please. I didn’t think it would be on news," she posted. "I just want to see him again."

"I have nothing left if I don’t find him I'll go home. If he says no then ok... is that wrong?"
