Busty babe Kate Upton may have lost her prize place as the coveted cover girl on one of the three covers of Sports Illustrated’s upcoming Swimsuit issue due to her alleged diva demands. “There was drama” an insider dished to PageSix. “Kate demanded that if she did the shoot, that she absolutely must get the cover.”

The 24-year-old apparently also had a strict “list of photographers and hair and makeup people she would only work with.”

Like they did last year the lads’ mag plans to feature three separate covers with their choice of beauties this year being tennis champ Serena Williams (35), former supermodel Christie Brinkley (63), and supposedly Kate.

“She was being a big f***king diva. She’s thinks she’s better than everyone because she’s an actress.”

The Michigan-born beauty graced the cover of Swimsuit Illustrated for the first time back in 2012. A year later she did it gain, this time posing in a tiny bikini against a snowy background.

It’s believed her arrogance may be linked to her budding career as an actress. After taking the modelling world by storm in 2011 with her X-rated curves she moved onto Hollywood where her film credits to date include the 2011 action comedy Tower Heist with Eddie Murphy, 2014’s The Other Woman with Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann, and the upcoming road trip romp The Layover alongside William H Macy.

A spokesperson for the magazine has brushed off the drama, saying “It’s that time of year again. Who is in, who’s on the cover, what will they do next? Everyone has a guess, and that’s all this is.”
