Lance Bass says Kris Jenner is “so supportive” of estranged husband Bruce.

The 65-year-old Olympic Gold medalist is rumoured to be preparing for gender reassignment and TMZ reported on Thursday Kris “flipped out” over the news because she had no idea he wanted to do this.

But Lance claims rumours Kris is outraged over Bruce’s decision to become a woman couldn’t be further from the truth.

"[Kris] never uttered a bad word about anything,” Lance told People.

That family is so supportive of every single family member

"That family is so supportive of every single family member. They've been great, like, 'We support whatever he's about to tell us.' "

Lance has been good friends with the Kardashian-Jenner clan for quite some time.

And the former 'N Sync star insists he got the inside details on Kris’ reaction to Bruce’s transition ages ago.

"We discussed it, of course, because rumours are out there and we have to ask our friend. Yeah, we had the inside information. But we did not call People for the exclusive – the source was not me!" he joked.

Lance married his partner Michael Turchin last December in Los Angeles and their nuptials were memorialised in an E! television special called Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding.

And the pair have previously spoken about certain moments in the programme they’d rather not air for the world to see.

“There were penis cakes that made a heart shape,” Lance recalled in an interview with America’s OK! magazine correspondent Nadine DeNinno. “I will be cringing when that is shown because I know my grandparents will be watching!”

Lance Loves Michael airs on E! in the US tonight.
