Lee-Ann Liebenberg’s little princess

She has her mom’s bright eyes and a ready smile for everyone – but the minute she sets eyes on the tutu that’s meant to transform her into a fairy princess for our photoshoot little Gia’s mood changes.

Suddenly the playful gurgles are gone and she’s lying on the floor with tears streaming down her face, trying to pull off the frilly skirt while her mom, Lee-Ann Liebenberg (29), watches with a bemused expression.

Luckily it doesn’t take much to get the 17-month-old smiling again.

As soon as she gets her hands on a bottle of bright pink nail polish the sweet princess is back, giggling happily as she tries to paint her mommy’s lips.

As one of South Africa’s most sought-after models, Lee-Ann has graced hundreds of magazine covers but she reckons becoming a mom has completely changed her priorities and outlook on life.

“It’s made me grow up. I’m now confident, selfless and secure. My heart, body, mind and soul are completely devoted to my family and I can’t remember life before Gia,” she says.
