Lindsay Lohan's friends are apparently worried she'll "jeopardise" her health.

Lindsay Lohan's friends are apparently worried she'll "jeopardise" her health. The Mean Girls actress has been treading the board in London's West End, where she took a lead role in Speed-the-Plow. Now the play has come to an end, it's believed the star is looking forward to heading back to the US to spend time with her loved ones across the pond.

'Everything is looking really positive for her and it would be horrible to see her jeopardise it'

But it's thought the 28-year-old's pals are concerned she'll slip back into old ways. Last year she was court-ordered to 90 days in rehab after pleading no contest to charges relating to a car crash last year. She was previously known for her love of partying and had admitted to past substance use.

"She's in a really good place right now," a source told British magazine Star.

"She got good reviews for the play, she's re-established herself as a serious actress. She's in the best shape of her life because she gave up constant partying and concentrated on staying fit for the theatre run. Everything is looking really positive for her and it would be horrible to see her jeopardise it."

Lindsay has built a network of friends in London, but her family and her mentor Oprah Winfrey remain in America.

Apparently the recent US holiday of Thanksgiving really hit home how far away she is from her base.

"Not spending Thanksgiving with her family reminded her how homesick she is," the insider admitted.

"She loves London but she only has a small circle of friends here... She misses everyone back home. The problem, as even she knows, is that not all those people are good for her."
