"Looks matter, what you say counts."

Imagine a dating app that can match you and your potential soulmate solely based on your Tweets?

LoveFluff is a dating app that uses your Twitter account to match you up with your potential partner.

Unlike Tinder, the App isn't focused on one's outward appearance but it's what they Tweet that really makes a difference.

The app allows users to anonymously swipe to 'like' or 'pass' on profiles, then matches them with mutual 'likes'.

Professor James Pennebaker of the University of Texas, co-founder of Receptiviti AI, told Business Insider UK: "The frequency of certain words in tweets, such as pronouns, can reveal a person’s emotional, social and thinking style. Each entry is like a fingerprint."

He also added: "By reaching out to Twitter’s 320 million users, arguably half of whom are single, we want to turn ubiquitous flirting on Twitter into something real.

"With anonymous swiping to ‘Like’ or ‘Pass’ on profiles, we’ve created a new private place to declare an interest in your Twitter crush without necessary public (and often cryptic!) displays of affection on Twitter."

The app has also launched their recent update, BLUE, which specifically matches singletons that are verified on Twitter.

So if you're somewhat of a Twitter celeb or an actual one, you can find another person who is (arguably) in the same league as you.

This premium option also comes with a ‘dating concierge’ service that’ll manage introductions and organise dates for when you’re too busy to do it yourself.

Unfortunately, although this feature is free for now, it will soon be a paid service for verified users to find their verified matches.
