Lupita’s Met Gala hair needs to be seen to be believed

The updo can only be described as 'gravity-defying'.

Although Lupita Nyong'o looked breathtaking in a custom Calvin Klein Collection green sequin dress that complemented her svelte figure, it was her towering hairstyle that ultimately stole the show at the Met Gala. Of course, it's difficult not to compare the most talked about hair of the night to Marge Simpson's trademark hairdo. Apart from Lupita, several other celebrities let their inspired hairdos do all the talking. For Katy Perry, the Gala, which is one of the biggest events in the social calendar, was a great opportunity to show off her edgy sense of style. Dressed in a velvet-looking gown with heavy gold embellishments, Katy's look was finished off with a twist on the classic beehive updo.
Zendaya was almost unrecognizable in her golden Michael Kors gown and bowl cut.
Also living up to the theme, Ciara's sculpted silver metal hair got everyone talking.
