Make easy cheesy biltong wheels

Whether you’re looking for a healthy snack or something delicious to serve at a kiddies’ party, these yummy biltong wheels fit the bill.

Cheesy biltong wheels

Serves 4

You’ll need:

  • 50 ml salted butter
  • 4 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 100 ml Marmite or Bovril
  • 160 ml (? c) grated Cheddar cheese
  • 125 ml (½ c) biltong shavings

Do this:

Spread the butter on both sides of each slice of bread. Spread Marmite or Bovril on one side of each slice of bread and sprinkle cheese on. Roll each slice up tightly over the cheese filling to resemble a Swiss roll. Cut into 2 cm wheels. Roll the wheels in the biltong shavings and serve (the biltong should stick to the butter).
