The father of slain Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa has arrived in Joburg to pick up his son's belongings - but his girlfriend Kelly has disappeared, according to a report by City Press.

'She’s not picking up our calls'

Samuel Meyiwa made the trip from Umlazi in KwaZulu-Natal to collect Senzo's things -- including his ID and  cars -- that he said Kelly was refusing to give up.

According to the report, the task team investigating Senzo’s murder on Sunday night have also been unable to track Kelly down.

Some of Khumalo’s friends also said that they could not reach her, telling the paper that she wasn't answering their calls. “We want to go and give her support as friends but she’s not picking up our calls," one good friend is quoted as saying. "So we’ll leave her for now to give her space.”

Senzo was gunned down in an alleged break-in on Sunday night while visiting Kelly in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni.
