Michael Jackson's one-time best pal Mark Lester wants to take a DNA test because he thinks he’s the biological father of Michael’s kids.

A former close pal of Michael Jackson's wants to take a DNA test because he believes he’s the biological father of the late King of Pop's children.

British former child actor Mark Lester claims he was asked to donate sperm by the Thriller star approximately a year before Michael’s first son ? Prince Michael (16) ? was born, followed by his daughter, Paris (15), and later Prince Michael II, affectionately known as Blanket (11).

The 54-year-old father of four told the Sunday People newspaper: "After Michael asked me to donate sperm for him I completely forgot about it.

"He was a great dad to them, brought them up and was brilliant with the kids so I just didn't go there but there is obviously a good possibility [that I could be the biological father].

"I wouldn't have a DNA test without the children's permission but when the children come of age, and it's not far away, and they decide they want me to do it then I will. It is up to them.

"I don't want to tell them what to do. I just want to reconnect and be the godfather that Michael made me."

Mark, who was friends with Michael for 30 years, claims he hasn’t been allowed to contact the children since the late singer's memorial service in 2009 but wants them to visit him and his family.

He said: "I'm here; come and visit England. We'll look after you."

Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson ? who’s the children’s legal guardian ? recently demanded paternity evidence relating to her grandkids be dropped from the family's $40 billion (R320 million) wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoters AEG Live as she argued the jury didn’t need to know anything about the children’s biological parentage.

Meanwhile, Paris was spotted with her biological mother, Debbie Rowe, at her horse stables in Palmdale, California, over the weekend.

The pair are said to have been hanging out "a lot recently" and have become very close.

Debbie reached a settlement in August 2009 with Michael's mother which allowed her rights to supervised visitations.
