In 2011, Sibusiso Langa (47) ran over six joggers on on Level Road in Midrand, killing Reneilwe Lesenyeho (31) Gaolojwe Tlale (37) Margaret Mokoatsi (35) Given Mills (30) and Nomvula Dumako (35). Abegail Stengile survived the accident, but was seriously injured.

The Star newspaper said Sibusiso Langa (47), who was found guilty on five charges of culpable homicide and one of drink-driving, did not show much emotion as Pretoria High Court Judge Bert Bam sentenced him.

The judge also ordered that Langa's driving licence be cancelled. Bam said true remorse would have aided Langa's case.

Langa was sentenced on Wednesday.
