Apparently, Charlize Theron is only “ever interested in SA and SA causes when there's publicity around it.”

This according to a finalist in the recent Miss South Africa pageant, at least.

Iman Mkwanazi (26) was one of the 12 finalists who took part in the pageant on 26 March in the hope of being crowned.

Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (21) eventually walked away with the title the crown.

“I feel like she's only South African when it's convenient for her. Again it's merely an observation followed with an opinion,” said the entrepreneur from Lenasia.

But plenty of South Africans were not impressed with Iman’s opinions.

Actress Pearl Thusi responded to her, saying, “Maybe she (Charlize) does other stuff that she doesn't talk about... you never know.”

Others accused of looking for attention and trying to stay in the spotlight now that the Miss South Africa pageant is over.
