Michael Jackson's former wife Debbie Rowe says Wade Robson's claims that the late singer sexually abused him are "opportunistic".

Debbie Rowe has blasted Wade Robson as "opportunistic".

The former wife of Michael Jackson ? who’s the mother of the late singer's eldest children, Prince (16) and Paris (15) ? is horrified by Wade's accusations Michael sexually assaulted him and has branded him a liar.

She told TMZ, "I was angered that Wade Robson reversed his sworn testimony from court in 2005, and now claims to be a victim of sexual abuse.

"His publicity-seeking attempt is opportunistic and just oozes falseness.

"It will be quickly forgotten, and will do nothing, nothing to tarnish Michael's extraordinary legacy."

Wade was one of the witnesses at Michael's child molestation trial in 2005, and his testimony along with those of his sister and mother were said to be instrumental in the King of Pop’s acquittal but he’s now changed his story and alleges Michael sexually abused him for seven years.

On 1 May, the choreographer filed legal documents asking for money from the Michael Jackson Estate in compensation for alleged childhood molestation at the hands of the late pop star.
