It’s going to be a big year for movies - here is a sneak peek.

CINEMA MUST-SEES

HOT PICK 1: Alice in Wonderland (5 March)

Oh boy, are we excited about this one! Director Tim Burton brings the classic book to life in this magical film starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as 19-year-old Alice.

HOT PICK 2: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (3 December)

The last of the film adaptations is split into two. We don’t mind one bit - as long as we see Harry’s final years at Hogwarts come to life on the big screen. It’s going to be awesome.

Where the Wild Things Are (8 January)

In this adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s book unruly Max is sent to bed with no supper and creates his own world, a forest filled with wild creatures who crown him their ruler.

Dear John (19 February)

If you’re into romantic films check out this one staring Channing Tatum (Step Up 2) and Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia! and Jennifer’s Body).

Remember Me (19 March)

The film stars Robert Pattinson - we’d watch it even if it was dead boring. Rob plays Tyler, who falls in love with Alley (Emilie de Ravin) but their relationship is threatened by their family tragedies.

Iron Man 2 (30 April)

This much-hyped sequel starring Robert Downey Jnr, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L Jackson and Mickey Rourke is a must-see for Marvel fans.

Robin Hood (14 May)

Russell Crowe brings back the classic tale of Robin Hood? We can’t wait!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2 July)

It’s a long time to wait, isn’t it, fans? The third in the wildly popular Twilight Saga series is bound to be worth it.

The Chronicles of Narnia 3 (10 December)

Gorgeous Ben Barnes reprises his role as King Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. There’ll be more adventures with dragons, dwarves and merfolk (humanoids who live underwater).
