New developments in Hannah Cornelius murder investigation

Hannah's bloody body was found about 10 km outside Stellenbosch.

A fourth man was arrested on Monday night in connection with the murder of Maties student, Hannah Cornelius.

Two accused, Geraldo Parsons and Vernon Witbooi appeared briefly in the Stellenbosch Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of murder, attempted murder, rape and theft.

The third suspect was arrested later on and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.

Captain FC van Wyk, police spokesperson, said the fourth suspect, a 26-year-old man from Cloetesville, will face the same charges.

Hannah and her friend Cheslin Marsh were attacked in a white and blue Volkswagen Golf on Saturday morning in Stellenbosch.

Cheslin managed to escape.

Hannah's bloody body was found later in Knorhoek, about 10 km outside Stellenbosch.
