A princely performance at your christening, George!

The world’s most famous baby was named officially this week. Prince George, who is third in line to the British throne, was christened at an intimate ceremony held at St James Palace in London.

The three-month-old was surrounded by proud parents William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and various other family members, including his great-grandparents Queen Elizabeth 2 and Prince Philip.

Also in attendance were Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, along with her siblings, James and Pippa, George’s seven godparents and 22 other guests.

William was ever the proud papa, carrying in his chubby-cheeked son to be blessed by the Archibishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

It seems baby George takes after his mom – he was quiet throughout unlike William was 31 years ago. Baby William cried throughout his christening ceremony until Princess Diana popped her pinkie finger in his mouth to stop him wailing. The prince’s grandfather, Prince Charles, hosted guests at Clarence House for tea after the ceremony.
