Emma Watson has left her Harry Potter days far behind and is now one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actresses. Check her out in crime drama The Bling Ring – a true story based on a group of young burglars who targeted the homes of Hollywood stars.

- On her character Nicki (based on real-life suspect reality TV star Alexis Neiers), Emma says, “She’s a complicated character in the sense she has almost three different personas which she works with at the same time.”

- How’s this for irony? Emma’s wallet was stolen during filming.

- To get into the mind-set of her character, Emma says she watched reality TV shows such as Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Hills. She also listened to Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale album.

- She’s currently enrolled in an open curriculum programme at Brown University, Rhode Island. “I feel so lucky. Hopefully I’ll get to graduate next year. That will be really satisfying.”

- Both her parents are lawyers but Emma always wanted to act. “I’d never have forgiven my parents if they’d made me turn down that opportunity. I just loved performing.”

- She’s a homebody at heart. “People say things to me like, ‘It’s really cool that you don't go out and get drunk all the time and go to clubs. I’m an introverted kind of person just by nature; it’s not a conscious choice I’m making.”
