Robin Williams will be remembered in a tribute on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network.

Robin Williams will be remembered in a tribute on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network. The late comedian was discovered deceased in his Tiburon, California home on Monday after an apparent suicide. He was 63.

'The actor opens up to Oprah about everything from drug abuse, what being married to him is like, fatherhood'

And the TV mogul appears to be the latest to pay tribute to the beloved star, with two specials in Robin’s honour scheduled to air this weekend, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The outlet reports OWN will air two of 14 episodes in which Robin appeared on Oprah’s eponymous talk show.

The first, recorded in 1988, marked the comedian’s in-studio debut on the programme, EW reports.

“A candid Williams… shares deeply personal stories about filming Good Morning, Vietnam, his early childhood and more,” read episode notes.

The second special will include Robin’s appearance three years later in 1991.

“Ranging from silly to sentimental, the… actor opens up to Oprah about everything from drug abuse, what being married to him is like, fatherhood, working on the feature films The Fisher King and Dead Poet’s Society, his creative inspiration and his thoughts on aging and turning 40,” reads the description obtained by EW.

Both episodes will reportedly air back-to-back this Sunday.

Family, fans and loved ones flocked to social media after news of Robin’s death was announced earlier this week.

The late comedian’s widow, Susan Schneider, revealed days later her husband was suffering from the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease, insisting she hoped sharing the information would help others to be “less afraid” facing their own struggles.

Oprah was among legions of celebrities meanwhile taking to Twitter to remember the late star.

“Just watched BIRDCAGE and #LOL'd a lot. Thank you Robin for all the great interviews. We had some doozies. #R.I.P.,” she wrote.
