Pork steak burgers with tzatziki

Not in the mood for cooking? Try this easy and affordable recipe, which will only take you a couple of minutes.

4 pork neck steaks

salt and freshly ground black pepper

15 ml (1 T) honey

15 ml (1 T) wholegrain mustard

oil

40 g butter lettuce

4 slices rye bread, toasted

TZATZIKI: ½ cucumber, grated 250 ml (1 c) Greek yoghurt 1 garlic clove, crushed salt and pepper

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Brush with honey and mustard and arrange on a baking sheet. Drizzle with a little oil and roast for 15-20 minutes or until done.
  2. For the tzatziki, squeeze the cucumber to remove excess liquid and mix with the yoghurt and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Divide the lettuce among the slices of toast, arrange a steak on top of each and serve with a dollop of tzatziki.
