A British church minister urged people to pray for murder-accused Oscar Pistorius after having lunch with him in Pretoria.

Robert Tillman Kendall, who was once the minister at Westminster Chapel, tweeted a picture of himself and smiling Oscar with the caption, "Oscar Pistorius gave me lunch in his home today in Pretoria, South Africa. Please, please, do pray for him."

UPDATE: While Kendall posted the tweet on Monday and said the lunch had happened that day, Pistorius family spokesperson Anneliese Burgess said the meeting took place over the weekend.

She said Oscar was at Weskoppies on Monday for the full day, as per the court order.

Monday was Oscar's first day at Weskoppies mental health hospital where is to undergo mental evaluation, as ruled by Judge Thokozile Masipa last week.

Part of the terms of his treatment were that he remain at the hospital from 9 am until 4 pm every day, unless he was released earlier by his doctors. He was pictured arriving at Weskoppies at 8:49 am.
