Britain's Queen Elizabeth was reportedly furious with the Duchess of Cambridge for taking Prince George to stay at her parents’ home.

The monarch and the duchess reportedly clashed over Kate's decision to take the third-in-line to the throne ? who was born in July ? back to Carole and Michael Middleton's home in Bucklebury, west Berkshire, after the birth of her son rather than back to the palace, as is tradition.

George Brown, a pal of the Middleton family, reportedly said in an extract from an unofficial biography about the duchess, "I'm not sure the Queen was entirely in favour of the idea of them all moving to Bucklebury; it was certainly not the norm, but it was what Kate wanted, and William supported her and made it happen."

Meanwhile, Kate's uncle Gary Goldsmith ? who’s Carole's younger brother ? previously said how delighted he was to see the brunette beauty and Prince William (both 31) coping so well with their new responsibilities of parenthood.

He said, "They're doing absolutely brilliantly. Kate has her feet so solidly on the ground, and William knows his own mind.

"They will be absolutely perfect and are a proper couple who are madly in love.

"[They will be] incredibly modern. They'll be everywhere together.

"I don't think they will pass the responsibility of their babies to other people".
