Quick sticky chicken

Make sure you have napkins on hand for this lip-smacking dish.

Serves 4 Preparation time: 5 min Cooking time: 20 min

  • 6 chicken breast fillets, cut into strips
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • olive oil
  • 7 ml (1½ t) soy sauce
  • 30 ml (2 T) grape vinegar
  • 30 ml (2 T) golden syrup or honey

1 Season the chicken with salt and pepper.

2 Heat a little oil in a large frying pan and lightly brown the chicken. 3 Mix the remaining ingredients and add to the pan. Cook the chicken until sticky and fragrant. 4 Serve with pasta, sweet peppers and salad. TIP Add a variety of stir-fry vegetables to the chicken and serve with Asian noodles. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped spring onions over the dish.
