Rustic braai pizza

The best of Italy meets the best of SA!

Preparation: Less than 1 hour

Serves: 4

500 grams self-rising flour, store-bought bread dough

30 ml olive oil

30 ml rosemary, chopped

2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped

250 ml mozzarella, cheese

1 pinch salt and milled pepper

1 If using a kettle braai, place the lid over the grid and allow ‘oven’ to reach 200°C

2 If using a conventional oven, preheat to 200°C

3 Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface into a free form shape

4 Place on a floured baking tray

5 Brush with oil, sprinkle with rosemary and garlic and top with cheese

6 Season

7 Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown
